PRELIMINARY TESTS

PRELIMINARY TESTS

The preliminary tests are based on content from your highschool courses. These tests will be graded and the marks will be stored in your professor's database. The purpose of these tests is to help you review some general mathematical concepts and to give your professor an indication of the level of skills of the students.

These tests are available via the iLrn website and are called: (name all tests here)

Each student must visit the iLrn site from the link below and create a user account. Enter the "First Time User" section to create your account. You must then fill out some online forms with information such as access code, e-mail address, university, first name, last name, etc. Your access code will be given out in lecture.

NOTE: The only information you must fill in accurately is Course Access number, E-mail, password, University, and Name (first and last). To protect your privacy you may may put N/A in all other fields.

After you have submitted this information follow the onscreen directions to finish setting up your account (such as replying to an e-mail which has been sent to you). Return to the main iLrn page and click on "Login". You may then arrive at a page entitled "Find Your School". On this page, leave the "School Location" box as is (showing "all locations") and enter "nipissing" in the "School Name" box. Click "Search". On the right side of the page you will see "NIPISSING UNIVERSITY - MUSKOKA (Bracbridge, FC)". Click on this link. Then enter your username and password and click on "Login".

NOTE: If you arrived directly at the "Login" page, ensure that the page says "School: NIPISSING UNIVERSITY - MUSKOKA". If it does not, click the "Find Your School" link and follow the above directions.

You can enter the iLrn website at the link below.
